My name is Rachel Smith and I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising this past May. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at Kent State and will graduate in December 2023. Throughout my time in undergrad, I have been able to explore my passion for combining creativity with financial management and planning.
I am a hard-working and driven individual looking to grow my experience and knowledge every day. The retail industry is one that constantly changing and staying on my toes is how I keep my mind and production levels sharp. I am passionate about precision and problem-solving which is something that I get to develop and work on in my accounting classes. As a buyer I will combine my passions of numbers and planning with my ability to create stunning collections.
My current role as a Web Sales Intern at Arhaus has given me hands-on experience in corporate retail and e-commerce and has developed my skills in online retail software. My favorite thing to do in my free time is read books which greatly develops my comprehension and critical-thinking skills. I am currently located in Ohio, but am open to broadening my horizons and relocating.
